You should now have the required ROM zip files on your phone and ClockworkMod Recovery installed. Follow these final instuctions to install the ROM.
Click the ROM you downloaded from Page 1.
I downloaded a Custom ROM
- Your phone should be in ClockworkMod Recovery. If not, turn off your phone, and then hold the Volume down and Power on button together until you see ClockworkMod Recovery.
- Use the Volume buttons to highlight wipe data/factory reset
- Press the home button to select wipe data/factory reset
- Highlight and select Yes -- delete all user data
- Once finished, highlight and select wipe cache partition
- Highlight and select Yes - Wipe Cache
- Once finished, highlight and select advanced
- Highlight and select Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Highlight and select Yes - Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Once finished, press the Back / Return button once.
- Highlight and select install zip from sdcard
- Highlight and select choose zip from sdcard
- Highlight and select the zip file you downloaded from page 1. You might have to go all the way down the list to see it.
- Highlight and select Yes - Install ... .zip
- Wait for the ROM to install. This may take up to 10 minutes.
- Once finished, press the Back / Return button once.
- Highlight and select reboot system now
- Your phone may take up to 10 minutes to boot for the first time.
- Once you phone has fully loaded, leave it alone for 5 minutes.
- Turn off your phone, and then turn it on again.
- You have successfully installed a custom ROM! ClockworkMod Recovery should still be on your phone, so you can experiment with other ROMs if you like. Note, you can boot into ClockworkMod Recovery by turning off your phone, and then holding the Volume down and Power on button together until you see ClockworkMod Recovery.
I downloaded a Debranded ROM
- Your phone should be in ClockworkMod Recovery. If not, turn off your phone, and then hold the Volume down and Power on button together until you see ClockworkMod Recovery.
- Use the Volume buttons to highlight wipe data/factory reset

- Highlight and select Yes -- delete all user data

- Once finished, highlight and select advanced

- Highlight and select Yes - Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Once finished, press the Back / Return button once.

- Turn off your phone, and then turn it on again.
- You have successfully installed a debranded ROM! ClockworkMod Recovery should still be on your phone, so you can experiment with other ROMs if you like. I downloaded Cyanogenmod 9
- Your phone should be in ClockworkMod Recovery. If not, turn off your phone, and then hold the Volume down and Power on button together until you see ClockworkMod Recovery.
- Use the Volume buttons to highlight mounts and storage
- Press the home button to select mounts and storage
- Highlight and select format /system
- Highlight and select Yes - Format
- Once finished, press the Back / Return button once.
- Highlight and select advanced
- Highlight and select Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Highlight and select Yes - Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Once finished, press the Back / Return button once.
- Highlight and select install zip from sdcard
- Highlight and select choose zip from sdcard
- Highlight and select update-cm-9-2012xxxx-NIGHTLY-skate-signed.zip (the numbers / file name may be slightly different)
- Highlight and select Yes - Install update-cm-9-2012xxxx-NIGHTLY-skate-signed.zip
- Wait for the ROM to install. This may take up to 10 minutes.
- Once finished, press the Back / Return button once.
- Highlight and select wipe data/factory reset
- Highlight and select Yes -- delete all user data
- Once finished, highlight and select wipe cache partition
- Highlight and select Yes - Wipe Cache
- Once finished, highlight and select reboot system now
- Your phone may take up to 10 minutes to boot for the first time.
- Once your phone has fully loaded, leave it alone for 5 minutes.
- Turn off your phone, and then hold the Volume down and Power on button together until you see ClockworkMod Recovery.

- Highlight and select gapps-ics-2012xxxx-signed.zip (the numbers / file name may be slightly different)
- Highlight and select Yes - Installgapps-ics-2012xxxx-signed.zip
- Wait for the ROM to install. This may take a few minutes.
- Once finished, press the Back / Return button once.
- Highlight and select reboot system now
- Once your phone has fully loaded, leave it alone for another 5 minutes.
- You have successfully installed Cyanogenmod 9! ClockworkMod Recovery should still be on your phone, so you can experiment with other ROMs if you like. Note, you can boot into ClockworkMod Recovery by turning off your phone, and then holding the Volume down and Power on button together until you see ClockworkMod Recovery.
